uROking and Evolving
This week I was lucky enough to receive a personal invitation to the Whitehouse. Now before you go off on a tangent, this one is not in the USA! The Whitehouse I visited is headquarters to Evolve Makeup in Australia and I was asked to come along to ‘get evolved’ by none other than make-up artist to the stars, Evolve Founder Eve Connelly.
Every woman needs a spoil now and then and with my hectic schedule and two small children to nurture and nourish, I often miss out on doing those girly things that give just you a giggle and make you feel good about yourself. I’d been talking with Eve about doing the uROk 33 Day Challenge as a corporate assignment in the Evolve business and she immediately saw a chance to do something special for me as a personal thank you.
When I spoke with Eve Connelly both on and off camera, I discovered that she is highly motivated by the values of ‘Parenting’ and ‘Service’. Her son is her number one motivator and as she says in the interview “Why else would I be going it?” Ironically it was the very fact of being a ‘single mum’ that propelled her into her own business. To Eve, makeup is much more than just superfluous fluff and it has been her path to honour the value of Service. “When I see that inner beauty shining in through in her eyes when she sees the finished result, I know I’m doing much more than just painting faces.”
When you reconnect with the Real You and get clear on your personal values and purpose you begin to design more fulfilling and meaningful pathways to living the life of your dreams. This doesn’t mean success is easy per se. In the main it takes years of hard work and dedication to achieve anything worthwhile. However life is in the day-to-day living of it. If you’re fuelled by the things that really matter to you, instead of getting caught up in external noise and OPIs (Other Peoples Ideas) you’ll have much more stamina, endurance and joy for your ‘Doing’.
When your very Being is aligned with the bigger picture of life, your Thinking, Speaking and Doing work in harmony to bring your dreams to fruition. Stay clear on your ‘Why’ and you’ll always find a way ‘How’.

Lenny Kravitz 'I Belong To You' & uROk tips for true love!
It's my 18 year anniversary with my most awesome husband Matt Kirk today and I wanted to share the love with you all before we continue on with our private celebrations heh heh.
If you're a 'single' out there, please be assured that true love really does exist and contemplate on these ideas below:
1. Never settle for second best - you know in your heart how you really feel.
2. Stay true to your vision of love. Most importantly however (and contrary to what a lot of life coaching 'experts' will say) don't be so concerned about visualising your life partners physical appearance, concentrate rather on their internal qualities and how they make you feel. When I first met Matt it was not 'love at first sight' but love at first 'connection'. When we spoke our hellos and shook hands I think I knew then I'd be with this man for the rest of my life.
3. When you find someone you can love - focus on what you do love about them and not the tiny imperfections we're all blessed with. Seek always to understand before being understood.
4. Have fun!!! Matt and I are best friends. We've always been like two peas in a pod. Yes, we have some different interests and ideas on some stuff but at the heart of the matter we are deeply connected through our common values. Not every value is the same but the primary values of Love, Faith and Service are those that underpin all our decisions. It's easy to agree on the big things because our decisions are driven from the same point.

If 'Love' is your current NOG (Number One Goal) and you feel it's key to the 'Dream Your Live, Live Your Dream' vision for you don't lose faith or motivation. Check your mental diet and revisit the tunes you're playing on 'Radio Me'. Are they thoughts that serve or hinder your goal? Develop some 'Iam, I now, I feel' mantras to keep you on track. Are you doing the types of things that will serve and support your goal? If you want to meet someone you'll have to leave your loungeroom!
If you're already in a relationship and you think you could do a bit of re-engineering of your love life, consider grabbing a couple of copies of uROk 33 Day Challenge. Working through the Personal Values section together will establish a wonderful platform for far more effective communication between the two of you. And - better communication means means more fun and less fights!!!

By keeping your intention clear and feeding your vision daily, you'll be in a much better head and heart space for attracting (and then building a wonderful supportive relationship with) that special guy or girl.

It’s hard to believe we’re already marching toward the end of January 2009 but it does highlight the importance of being present every day and truly experiencing the moment. There is no better time to start living the life of your dreams than right now, here, today. Waiting, hoping and/or wishing for something better, the right time, the right person, place or circumstance is just a waste of time.
Defining your vision, creating plans to make it happen and taking daily action – this is where your true power and all your potential lives.
